Wow, when I look back over these photos from the last few days I am reminded of why my back is aching, my knees are hurting and I am falling asleep at 8pm!!!
When this cupboard arrived totally unexpected in my front door at 5pm last night and had literally nowhere to go, it set off a chain reaction of movement within the store...those who have experienced it will know exactly what I am talking about! Does it sit in the doorway, a huge cardboard box blocking people from entering the shop for days? No of course not, you rip off the cardboard, slide a rug underneath, drag it into the window and shove it full of treasures.
And so the chain reaction is set in motion.......yesterday's window display gets pushed back behind the new, and on it goes.....
the upside of all the hard work for us is that we have soooo many luscious new treasures for you....
like these cute little recycled glass bottles,
or something we'll be needing too soon, memi's divine door snakes, heat packs, hot water bottle covers, door stops, eye pillows and more....
and I could stay at work all night (if I wasn't so exhausted!) flicking through the fabulous new books that arrived yesterday....
but if it is stationery you need, we have that sorted too....with a beautiful new range of recycled paper stationery.....
or cushions......get the picture?
I have had two wonderful helpers, Christine and Amy, who have been busy pricing, and assisting our lovely customers whilst I have been battling the boxes!!! Thanks heaps girls. x
We have stunning new hand block printed cushions and vintage saris....
a new oak bookcase
and I do believe this is the only set of shelves that has not been touched this week.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. I really should be finishing it off with a long walk instead of blogging, after polishing off a couple of pieces of this divine pizza today at the equally divine little cafe/gallery Ut Si at Perth. Mmmm and the pea and ham soup is good too!
We are very excited about more new arrivals due at ecoco this week, we are making space for new pieces, so we would love someone to take home a love chair, pictured here is one gorgeously soft and comfy chair for two and it just so happens to be on sale!!!
And if you have noticed my obsession with sedum (the plant) lately, it started with this gorgeous arrangement at the "Tickets for Coco" stand. Luckily for me sedum is everywhere in my garden, it lasts forever in a vase and grows easily from a cutting, so if you would like some, you know where we are!
Hot, hot, hot right now is mustard, in various shades and strengths. Mustard, the colour that is...being a dark shade of yellow! According to our suppliers anything mustard had designers and decorators scrambling for it at recent trade events.
My customers often ask about trends in paint colours and accent colours , well here it is, in accessories anyway! Don't think we are ready for mustard on the walls just yet, but what a great accent colour...mustard is warm and welcoming as we head into winter here in the southern hemisphere.
Love it or hate it, there is no denying mustard sits beautifully in predominantly neutral palettes, providing just enough spice to make things interesting. Combing mustard with neutral greys and white softens its visual impact.
Combine some mustard and chevron for great visual impact and a look that is hot right now.

Do you need some mustard to warm things up in your interior or is it hot enough already!?!
Would love to hear about your favourite accent colour, or tell us what you think about mustard.
Back after a little break from blogging with some recent photos of ecoco. Following a couple of buying trips recently, we have new treasures arriving every day. I must admit, every time I hear a truck pull up outside I experience a tinge of apprehension, where to put more new stock???
It often requires a bit of reshuffling!
