Yesterday I cleaned the floors and tiles in the apartment above the shop, which is almost complete and ready for finishing touches such as mirrors, blinds and furniture.....
my mother was clearly amused by the bath in front of the window....but for me, what could be better than soaking in a bath with a view at the end of a busy day? Hope the tenants agree!
Today the carpet was laid in the bedrooms...
not usually a fan of carpet, but it has made a huge difference to the bedrooms and will be cosy in winter.
Anyone know how to clean grout off tiles? Please let me know.

removing the layers revealed a more appealing fireplace... and gone is the green laminex and vinyl flooring...
love the new concrete benchtops...
and my personal assistant gives her stamp of approval from the comfort of her Balfour Street bed! She has been busy with the very important task of ensuring that none of the neighbouring cats poke their noses over the fence, and that as you can see is clearly exhausting!!!
I love what you have done to the place, the bathroom is gorgeous! I think the positioning of the bath is just perfect... Mothers are right most of the time but not all the time. x
